Ruffles and lace minus the lace..

Happy Last day of 2009! Again i'm writing this post a day after it should have happened. It was not a good day yesterday at all! I was practically walking around with my closed at 8:30 pm last night! So needless to say I wasn't ready to post this yet.

Btw, if you hadn't noticed my pictures have changed. My husband offered to help take my wardrobe pictures....but he's still learning on the best way to take them. I'll have him trained in no time! For now...please excuse the horrible pictures. Especially the one with all the dumb shoe boxes in it. Those need to be recycled and we haven't got to take them yet.

So who is ready for the new year?! I know I am and I can't wait to spend some time with my lovely friends tonight and start off the new year right with them! Well Its back to work I go, see you all next year!

Good Morning everyone. I didn't get to post this last night so I'm posting it this morning. This is my outfit from yesterday. Its been a really long short week at work this week and its far from over yet. With 2 coworkers gone I'm left picking up the slack. I know they do it when i'm gone (which is rare) but its getting to be a little too much at this time. I woke up this morning feeling headachy so I'm hoping that the headache with go away and I can make it through this long day.
So even though this has been a rough week I will say this, my new outfits and items are making me feel really excited about getting dressed in the morning. Below I have some detail of the jewelry that I wore with yesterday's outfit. Well I just wanted to drop a quick line to you all. Hope you have a better day than me! I will see you soon.

I took 3 stackable rings and put them around this bow ring! So technically I'm wearing 4 rings on one finger but I loved the way that it looked!

Don't you just love my necklaces!

What I Wore: Dec. 26, 2009

Good morning everyone! This is the outfit I wore yesterday Dec. 26 to go shopping at the mall. Its not the most fashionable outfit I've ever worn but at 6 am and a long shopping day ahead, a comfortable outfit was in order. I needed to wear some warm layers to keep me warm without having to drudge around a coat. I also wore the layers so that I can try on clothes easily. The tennis shoes...well those explain themselves. So here are the outfit details..

Hat: Christmas Gift
Scarf: Target (Remixed)
Vest: Steve and Barrys
Hooded Sweatshirt: Steve and Barrys
Jeans: Dear by Amanda Bynes
Tennis Shoes: Puma

Next I will be posting pictures of all the items that I got for Christmas and all the items that I bought at the stores yesterday. I'm verry excited to wear all of my new clothes and I know that 2010 is going to be a very fashionable year!!

Have a very wonderful weekend!

Enjoy your Christmas with all of your loved ones and I hope everyone gets what they want from Santa this year. See you soon.

Black Tights: Forever 21

Good evening everyone! Only 3 more shopping days left till Christmas, are you ready?! Thankfully I'm done shopping and wrapping my presents. I will have to go out Wednesday night though and do some last minute grocery shopping, getting ready for Christmas day and all.
So this is what I wore to my little niece's Chistmas production at her church. I thought since I wasn't able to get her or her family a present this year that I would go and support her at her Christmas musical. She unfortunately didn't say her part until after she got off the stage but the musical was great anyways! Plus I had a whole bunch of fun hanging out with the family, it was a very good time.
Well i'm off to finish watching Santa Baby and Santa Baby 2! Have a wonderful evening!

Good Morning Everyone! Its December 19th and Christmas is approaching quickly. I'm very excited for Christmas this year as it is the first Christmas with my husband as a married couple. We are doing things a little different this year but I'm ok with that. A lot definetly changes when you get married and you must do your best to roll with those changes. Anyway, because Christmas is fast approaching I've been busy, making food for our work potluck, finishing Christmas shopping, and wrapping presents. Not to mention of course all of the other little errands that come with daily life. So if I'm not around a lot then you know its because I'm getting ready for Christmas and enjoying all the time with my loved ones.

So the first outfit up above was the outfit that I wore Dec 16. I got the idea for the outfit while I was at work the day before. It turned out just as wonderful as I had thought and I feel like it had a very romantic quality. The outfit below I wore on my mental health day off from work on Dec 17. My husband and I had the day off together so we went and turned in our recycling and did some Christmas shopping. This outfit I kind of just threw together but I was very happy to be able to wear my new scarf that I got from H&M. Its a big infinity scarf but there are plenty of ways that one can wear it, as long as you use your creativity.

Well thats all for me today! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

What I wore: Dec 12, 2009

Black Jacket: I don't remember where I got it, i've had it for a while.
Cardigan: Old Navy
Jeans: Thrifted
Hat: H&M
Broach on Hat: I made it
So my dad called me at 9:00 in the morning and asked me if I wanted to come over and make wreaths with him. I hesitated for a while because of course I wanted to just sit at home and do nothing. Since I love Christmas so much I decided to go because I enjoy any good christmas activity and anything art & crafts that I can do on the cheap. So I went and had a blast! This is what I wore, plenty of layers to stay warm.
The detail of the hat is below!

Well enjoy the rest of your weekend!

What I've worn: Dec. 9, 10, & 11

So I've been busy this week and haven't really been able to post any of my weardrobe pictures..sorry folks. Things have been crazy with my car being in the shop, the weather, trying to keep my sanity, and just plain doing normal daily things. I feel so much time has been slipping away and I'm trying to enjoy it while I can. Since the holidays are upon as I'm busy doing the fun holiday things too! I'm not complaining though, just stating where i've been..in case you wondered! So here are my weardrobe pictures from December 9, 10, & 11.

What's sitting in the back of your closet?

I wasn't gonna blog today but I decided to post one thing....this scarf! It is literally the longest scarf i've ever seen. I got it years ago at a thrift store but have only ever worn it a handful of times. I've never quite figured out how to wear it and so its always sat in the back of my closet. Until this weekend! I've finally figured out some ways to wear it, and i'm glad that i've never been able to part with it. So here is how I wore it yesterday to the grocery store and today to church. Of course, because its such a big scarf its very warm too! Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

The bottom 2 pictures are close ups of the scarf. Isn't it fabulous?! Well all, thats it for me, for now anyways. Stay sweet!
